Infy City residential township coming up near city

Bangalore, Feb 28 (UNI) A unique, exciting township coupled with a rare blend of imagination, beauty and reality is in final stages of construction near Doddaballapur, about 40 kilometers from here.

The project "N.S.Info City," spread across 100 acres, is a residential township comprising various dimensions of sites and villas. It has among others 14 parks, wide roads, rainwater harvesting and other facilities to match international standards.

Over 1500 sites had been sold already.

According to Chairman and Managing Director of KVN and Swarup group of companies K V Narayan, the main driving force behind the project, the facilities created in the township is meant to be used by residents of the township only.

Explaining salient features of the township he said the main entrance would be on the lines of Arc D'Triumph (Napoleon Gate in Paris-France). The huge and royal arch gate would also serve as a view tower on the terrace.

Different types of seating arrangements in the form of log of wood, cucumber, brinjal, pumpkins, water melon and various types of fruits and flowers had been created and the park had also facilities such as mini golf and other sports facilities.

One of the attractions is creation of fairy tale park for young and old where fairy tales are told and sketched in the form of three dimension statues, embossed paintings.

A huge giant size Guller statue of more than 50 feet in length lies near the sea shore swarmed by Liliputs depicting a classical story. Another 10 foot statue of Pied Piper of Hamlin is also added attraction for children, he added.

Replying to queries Mr Narayan said these parks were bound to attract children as they also had embossed paintings of Cinderella, Aladdin and the wonderful lamp, Alibaba and 40 thieves, Panchatantra and other stories with colourful paintings.

The Shiva park has a sacred religious temple with a huge statue of smiling Lord Shiva. The township also has the temples of Suryanarayanaswamy and Betarayanaswamy. There is also a Railway park, where a mini train with very attractive chariot like bogies awaits children in township for free ride. Alient Park comprised space ship, Moon landing, Mars and other features. The Jurassic park had huge replicas of Jurassics, he narrated.

Answering a question he said Rs 20 crore had already been spent on the project and another Rs 10 crore would be spent by the time the project would be completed in one year.

The ultimate objective was to ensure that the residents lived in a pleasant atmosphere filled with fun and frolic, he concluded.
