DEBEL to develop Life Support Systems
Bangalore, Feb 28 (UNI) Defence Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL) has embarked upon an ambitious programme to develop state-of-the-art Life Support Systems, Debel Director V C Padaki said today.
Talking to newspersons on the sidelines of a function organised to celebrate the National Science Day here, he said the systems would be developed for the defence personnel, who functioned in hostile modern warfare conditions.
He said since inception in 1982, the DEBEL had designed and developed parameters for the soldiers, who needed timely treatment in the battle field.
DEBEL's biomedical technology and instrumentation would help in designing systems that would provide timely treatment to the soldiers, he added.
