Chennai, Feb 28 (UNI) Dax Networks, one of the top three networking companies in India, has executed a nationwide networking project for CAMS (Computer Age Management Services), a leading provider of Transaction Processing and Customer Care services to the Mutual Funds industry.
Under this project, Dax's routing solutions had been deployed across the country in over 140 Investor Service Centres of CAMS that were connected in real time to the back office in Chennai.
The successful implementation of a nationwide network for CAMS stands testimony to Dax's compelling value proposition that combines superior technical competence and cost efficiency. Dax looks forward to more such challenging projects, Dax Networks COO Sudha Jagadish said in a release here today.
Elaborating on the execution of the project, Company Chief Technology Manager Subashini said "following our highly structured pilot run, the implementation went through smoothly. We have multi-service provider termination and hot standby option across two routers in each centre. CAMS is assured of 99.99 per cent uptime and will be able to maintain its SLA even in remote cities at a nominal cost. As CAMS is expanding with additional bandwidth between its data centre and disaster recovery site, we have started implementing 10G backbone bandwidth termination using our Layer three switch, DX-0524GT, between these sites." As the next phase of the project, Dax would implement WAN solution for an additional 75 locations this month, the release added.
