Ambala, Feb 27 (UNI) The INLD supremo Om Prakash Chautala today claimed that the United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA) has become a potent alternative to the UPA and NDA and would come to power in the Centre after the next Lok Sabha elections.
He claimed that the Congress and its alliance partners would completely be wiped out because the electorate were disillusioned with them. He said the plight of common man had gone bad to worst under the regime of the UPA.
He said the 'third morcha' had further been boosted with the proposed support by the Left parties to it. Alliance partners of the UNPA were well prepared to face the elections in the country, he added.
Assailing the Congress government, headed by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in the state, the INLD supremo said Mr Hooda had failed to run the government since every section of the society in the state felt insecure as there was no law and order.
''The Congressmen were busy in amassing the wealth and the Hooda government had turned to be a government of property dealers,'' he alleged.
He claimed that if the Vidhan Sabha elections were held, the INLD would come to power with absolute majority.
