Police arrests CPI(Maoist) zonal commander
Gaya, Feb 27 (UNI) A zonal commander of proscribed CPI(Maoist) was arrested from Chauhar village under Tankuppa Outpost in the district late last night with some arms and ammunition.
Superintendent of Police Dr Amit Kumar Jain said here today acting on a tip-off police raided a hideout in the village and arrested the hardcore activist.
Altogether 15 criminal cases were lodged in different police stations of the district against him and police had announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head, the SP added.
