No threat to Kamat government: NCP
Panaji, Feb 27 (UNI) The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), a coalition partner in the Congress-led Digambar Kamat government, has said there is no immediate threat to the government though MGP legislator Sudin Dhavalikar has not yet been inducted as minister.
Interacting with mediapersons here today, Goa NCP chief Wilfred D'Souza said Mr Dhavlikar is likely to be inducted as minister after next month's Budget Session.
A coordination committee meeting had last month given the nod for Sudin Dhavlikar's induction. The meeting had been attended, among others, by Congress Goa observor and AICC general secretary Mr Hari Prasad and NCP leader and Union Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel besides Mr Kamat, GPCC President Francisco Ssrdinha and Mr D'Souza.
The issue of Mr Dhavlikar's induction has been pending and has been one of the main contentions between the coalition partners.
