Talking to newspersons here today, City Commissioner of Police Neelam Achyutha Rao said the CoD sleuths were collecting data on the activities and networks established by the SIMI in the city and other places in Karnataka. Mr Rao said the CoD and state intelligence officials had exchanged information collected on SIMI networks and chalked out a strategy to check their operations. Referring to the recent arrests in the city, Mr Rao said, ''the arrests were made based on information gathered by the police on the SIMI activists.'' Meanwhile, the CoD had subjected Mohammed Kammukutty, a suspected SIMI activist, to brain mapping at Forensic Science Laboratory.
