China claims 90,000 sq km of Indian territory, admits Govt
New Delhi, Feb 27 (UNI) The Government today admitted that China was claiming approximately 90,000 sq km of Indian territory, including the Buddhist enclave of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh.
External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha, said the government has already made it clear to Beijing that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India.
Mr Mukherjee also informed the House that no new joint team was constituted to resolve the vexed border issue with China.
