Six killed, 60 injured in bus accident

Itanagar, Feb 26 (UNI) At least six people were killed and over 60 seriously injured in a road accident at Liromoba in Arunachal Pradesh's West Siang district, official sources said here today.

They said the mishap occurred yesterday when the state transport bus, on way to Liromoba from Aalo district headquarters, overturned at around 1500 hrs. The injured were rushed to Aalo general hospital, police said.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Jarbom Gamlin, the local representative of the area, expressing grief over the tragic incident has assured all possible assistance to the bereaved family members and the injured.
