Ranchi, Feb 26 (UNI) Expressing dissatisfaction over the Railway budget, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha today said the people of Jharkhand have been betrayed in the budget.
BJYM's national secretary Sanjeev Chourasia said the budget reflected the Centre's 'step-motherly' attitude as no new train had been introduced for the region.
Refering to the ongoing railway projects, he said Rail Minister Lalu Prasad had failed to make any announcement regarding completion of the projects in the state.
Meanwhile, welcoming the Mr Prasad's announcement of opening a central railway hospital in Ranchi, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Shailesh Sinha said people would be greatly benefitted by the same.
