New Delhi, Feb 26 (UNI) The uproar created by the Opposition over the ''anti-farmer'' policies of the UPA government today led to the adjournment of the Upper House till 1200 hrs.
As soon as the House assembled for the day to take up the Question Hour, UNPA members left their seats and trooped to the well of the House, shouting slogans against the government. They accused the government of turning a blind eye to suicides by farmers and the agrarian crisis.
NDA members, including BJP vice president Venkaiah Naidu, also stood up in support.
