No political protection for J P Cement firing case accused

Bhopal, Feb 26 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Himmat Kothari told the Legislative Assembly today that poltical protection was not being provided to the J P Rewa Cement firing case's accused and two people were arrested in this regard.

In a written reply to Mr Narayan Tripathi (Samajwadi Party), Mr Kothari said that firing took place on September 22, 2007 and factory's security guards Sanjay Kumar Singh and Raghunandan Singh were arrested under Section 147, 148, 307 and 302 of Indian Penal Code. They were produced in the court on September 28, 2007.

Mr Kothari said the investigation was in progress and it was not possible to tell the time limit.
