Priest murdered in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu, Feb 25: A middle aged priest was murdered by some unidentified people in village Akalpur of Domana area, about 10 km from here, police said today.

The Priest identified as Mahavir Das was staying inside a Shiv temple in Akalpur for the past seven years, superintendent of police, Rural Shakti Pathak told to the sources asserting, ''he has received head injuries and was found dead inside the temple premises early morning.'' The matter is being investigated while a case has been registered at Domana police station, the SP said.
