Nine awarded lifeterm in seperate murder cases
Patna, Feb 25 (UNI) Local fast track courts today awarded life imprisonment to nine accused in seperate murder cases.
Fast track court judge Kamal Kishore Sinha awarded life imprisonment to seven people for murdering their co-villager Suresh Paswan.
According to the charges, the victim was shot dead by the convicts at Netar village under Dansivaiya police station area of Patna district on May 28, 2004, due to personal enmity.
Another local fast track court judge Ajit Kumar Sinha awarded lifeterm to two accused in a murder case and also slapped a fine of Rs 3000 against each convict.
According to the charges, Sunil Kumar a native of North Mandiri locality under Buddha colony police station in the state capital was shot dead by the convicts on January 24, 1996 after the victim refused to appear in the examination for the convicts.
