Ishant Sharma fined 15 per cent of match fee

Sydney, Feb 25 (UNI) Indian speedster Ishant Sharma was today fined 15 per cent of his match fee for his reaction after he dismissed Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds in the CB series' match here.

Sharma was caught in camera while he was showing a 'send-off finger' to Symonds after the pacer clean bowled the Australian all-rounder yesterday.

The 19-year-old pacer was booked under ICC Code of Conduct 1.6 rule violation which pertains to showing disrespect to opposition player or team on the field.
