BJS declares agitation in MP
Bhopal, Feb 25 (UNI) Keeping in view the controversial dumper purchase case, Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) Madhya Pradesh unit announced its 'Vidhan Sabha Bachao Andolan' today.
Party State President Ashok Tripathi told reporters here that under this agitation party would visit MLAs of ruling and opposition parties and pressurise Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to resign.
''Ruling party's legislators will accompany us after heeding their inner voice,'' said Mr Tripathi, adding that in the last week of March the party would conduct programmes and stage sits-in at different places in the state.
He said Party's Legal Cell Convenor Janendra Mishra has submitted an application to the Lokayukta in this regard.
''If no action is taken against Mr Chouhan by Lokayukta in fortnight then party will submit a petition in the High Court,'' he added.
