Mumbai, Feb 24 (UNI) The 10-member globetrotting multi-national team ''Smirnoff Ten'' today exhibited photographs on urban youth culture from all over the world and met city's youth to exchange views and experiences on youth culture and lifestyle.
''We've been to many places including South Africa, Australia, China and Japan, and what sets this city's youth apart is their bond with their culture which is impressive. Even at nightclubs, we get to hear numbers by Indian artists, whereas in places like China we never get to hear their artist's numbers,'' a member of the 10-member team from Brazil Luiza Sobral said.
Like in South Africa, people here are always smiling and interacting with us. Its easy to connect with them, the team-mate, US born music video producer, Benjamin Robinson III added.
Models Carol Gracious and Nikhil Chinappa hosted the day-long interaction between the visitors and the city's young and happening crowd which comprised of professionals and students.
''Music in whatever form is the binding force and common denominator among the youth. And though we are seeking out the best night spots, we are not hedonistic and do not condone irresponsible behaviour,'' a journalist from England Stephanie Prentice told UNI.
''I personally love Indian music and cannot wait to visit the Taj Mahal when our team heads for New Delhi next week,'' she added.
