TRS to raise Telangana issue during President's address
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (UNI) TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao today said the TRS MPs would raise the Telangana issue during President Pratibha Patil's address to the joint session of Parliament tomorrow, the opening day of the Budget session.
Talking to newspersons here, before leaving for New Delhi, Mr Rao said the TRS MPs would move an adjournment motion on Telangana on February 28 in Lok Sabha and stage a dharna at Jantar Mantar on March 2.
He said while the TRS MPs would resign from Lok Sabha on March 3, the TRS MLAs and MLCs would resign on March 4 and March 5 respectively.
He demanded that the Congress MPs, MLAs and MLCs from the Telangana region should resign from their posts for Telangana cause.
Stating that the resignation of the TRS MPs, MLAs and MLCs would be a 'death warrant' for the Congress in Telangana, he said the people would not excuse the Congress leaders if they remained silent on the Telangana issue.
