CPI(M) and CPI to contest MP Assly polls together
Bhopal, Feb 24 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh CPI (M) has decided to continue its electoral alliance with the CPI(M) in the upcoming assembly session in order to achieve better results.
In a release issued here today, the party stated that the two-day state-level meeting decided to field less number of candidates during the forthcoming polls and to review preparations in 14 assembly segments.
Lashing out at the Congress and the BJP, the meeting felt that Left parties should struggle for alternative policies.
The meeting claimed that it did not appear that the Congress, which had hiked the price of petrol and diesel and was enchanted by rise and fall in share prices, felt the need to change its policies.
