Congress demands state govt to end unaided education policy
Patna, Feb 24 (UNI) Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) today demanded Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and state Education Minister Vrishni Patel to end ''Unaided education policy'' without delay.
State unit party president Sadanand Singh here said, ''The ruling NDA in the state had promissed in their election manifesto that they would end the unaided education policy in the state, but despite their government in the state since last two years nothing substantial has been done so far, in this regard.'' He maintained that it was a dark spot on the face of the government as teachers in the educational institutions were working without wages and suffering a lot due to it.
His party is willing to end the dubious policy and would meet the chief minister and the education minister for the same, he added.
He further said that his party would begin a constructive agitation if the ruling alliance fails to resolve the issue in the coming fiscal.
