Election vital for Nepal: ADB vice-president
Kathmandu, Feb 23 (UNI) Concluding his four-day visit to Nepal, Asian Development Bank (ADB) vice-president Liqun Jin said the Constituent Assembly election is vital for the Himalayan country's development.
Lauding the government's commitment to nation's reform and development efforts, he reiterated the ADB's resolve to assist the country's social and economic development.
During his stay in Nepal, he met Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, ministers and senior government officials apart from giving the keynote address at the inaugural of Nepal, donor consultative meeting.
He also visited the ADB-funded development projects in some parts of the country.
