Cow sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh
Shajapur(MP), Feb 23: Ultimately, the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh has set the process for setting up a sanctuary for cows.
The Kamadhenu Cow Sanctuary will be spread over 473 hectare in five villages in Shajapur district's Susner tahsil. Acquisition of land in Pharaspura, Shyampura, Semli, Bayara and Nanora villages had been completed and the same handed over to the Forest department, District Collector Rajendra Sharma said.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced setting up of the unique sanctuary at a function at Agar in this district on January 11.
