London, Feb 23 : Amy Winehouse is planning to quit London and is thus looking for a house in Buckinghamshire, in a bid to get away from the paparazzi and keep herself clean from drugs and booze, it has been revealed.
According to a friend, Amy has been staying in a London hotel since she left rehab because she doesn't want to return to her flat in Bow, East London, where she was filmed smoking crack.
"That flat holds too many bad memories for Amy. It's where she was filmed smoking crack and she wants to put that behind her," The Sun quoted the friend, as saying.
"She has been staying at the hotel planning what to do. She considered returning to her old haunts in Camden for a while, then moving in with Kelly Osbourne in her North London pad. But now she wants to move out of London and buy a house in the country.
"There is so much attention on her in London and it's all getting a bit much. She enjoyed it at first but she needs some space. She doesn't feel she can go out any more without the eyes of the city on her.
"And hopefully a move from London will also be a move away from temptation," the friend added.
Amy is house hunting around Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, and Chalfont St Peter.
If the singer manages to procure a pad for herself in Buckinghamshire, her high-profile neighbours would include Cilla Black, Des O'Connor and Barry Gibb.
