Secretariat employees stir continues in Manipur
Imphal, Feb 22: The members of the Manipur Secretariat Service Association (MSSA) continued their ceasework strike for the fifth day today.
The 800 member of the MSSA is opposing the government move to appoint 25 Section Officers in the state secretariat. As the employees were on stir functioning in the secretariat were affected.
The government has decided to act tough and has warned that actions will be taken up against the employees. Chief Minister O.Ibobi Singh has appealed to the employees to withdraw their stir and he further said the services of the employees will be protected.
