Night temperature further rises in Punjab
Jalandhar, Feb 22 (UNI) Punjab witnessed further rise in the night temperature due to cloudy weather conditions.
According to a Defence spokesperson, the minumum temperature at Admapur Air Force Station, near here further increased to 12.0 degees Celsius as against yesterday's 7.6 degrees Celsius.
The night temperature in the holy city of Amritsar settled at 6.8 degrees Celsius, while at Halwara Airforce station near Ludhiana it again increased to 11.6 degrees Celsius from yesterday's 9.6 degrees Celsius.
In Pathankot, the minumum increased to 14 degees Celsius, whereas yesterday it was at 11.2 degees Celsius, also in Bathinda, the night temperature moved to 13.4 degrees Celsius from yesterday's 11.0 degees Celsius.
The Defence Met Section has predicted light showers at isolated places during night and for the next 24 hours, scattered mist and haze in the morning and cloudy weather during the day.
