Bhopal, Feb 22: Hitting back at the Madhya Pradesh Congress, the state BJP unit has dared it to issue a white paper on its 10-year-rule before issuing a chargesheet against the ruling BJP Government.
In a statement issued here yesterday, state BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar said public had been betrayed by the Congress and it must issue a white paper if it had moral courage to do so.
Congress party's Madhya Pradesh incharge General Secretary V Narayan Sami had recently claimed that the BJP had failed on all fronts and his party would issue a chargesheet against it.
Mr Tomar alleged that the Congress was regularly levelling false allegations before public but people understood everything. The Congress must explain people the reason behind the Centre disrupting development.
He said 157 tahsils in 37 districts are facing drought. The government had demanded a Rs 24,400 crore special package from the Centre for its drought-affected areas. The Congress was levelling baseless allegations instead of providing assistance.
