Imphal, Feb 22 : Petrol pump owners have joined a growing band of critics to protest militant excesses.
They recently closed down their establishments across Manipur in protest against a bomb attack on an oil station.
"They should think of developing the state? I don't understand what is their demand? I came to buy petrol, but due to its closure, I have to pay extra to procure petrol. We find it very hard to earn money," said Ibemhal Devi, a resident.
Tomba Singh, another resident, added, "I find this the biggest problem of Manipur."
Villagers wanting to live in peace are angry over the unwanted interference by nefarious elements in their lives.
