Devotee offers 3.6 kg golden pot to temple
Kancheepuram, Feb 22 (UNI) A devotee today offered a golden pot weighing 3.600 kg at the Sri Varadarajaperumal Temple fulfilling a vow.
Bangalore-based Industrialist Ramasamy also gave a studded golden garland costing Rs 50,000.
The precious offerings were handed over to Mr Pakirisami of the HR&CE Department. Later, the golden pot was kept at the main deity's feet while the garland was offered to Goddess Perundevi Thayar's idol in the temple.
