Jamnagar, Feb 22 (UNI) The police today seized 415 bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL), worth over Rs 1.65 lakh here, and arrested five people in this connection.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Jamnagar City Police, led by Police Inspector V V Jadeja, raided a room in the Digjam area of the city early this morning and recovered 415 bottles of IMFL worth over Rs 1.65 lakh from them.
Police also seized seven mobile phones from the arrested accused, police said.
The arrested accused were identified as Arun Sitaram Soni, Anirudhsinh H Jhala, Dasrathsinh Harisinh, Ramdevsinh Sodha and Pradumansinh H Gohil.
All of them were arrested under the Prohibition act, they added.
