Madurai, Tamilnadu Feb 21 (UNI) The State-level Conference of Puthiya Tamilagam to mark its tenth anniversary would be held here on February 24, said party Founder-President K Krishnasamy.
Talking to newspersons here today, he said the Conference would discuss various issues, including the present political situation in Tamilnadu and the future plans of the party. However, the Conference would not take any decision on the electoral alliance, he added.
The Conference would begin at 1600 hrs, after a ceremonial flag hoisting at the venue near the Mattuthavani Bus Stand.
Dr Krishnasamy claimed that the Conference would be a turning point for the suppressed and depressed classes. As many as 20 important resolutions would be passed in the Conference, he added.
He said former Union Home Minister Buta Singh and Samata Party leader Jaya Jaitley would participate in the Conference.
