Speaking on the occasion, he said maintaining good health is a must for everybody and the Centre would ensure this. Manipal Education and Medical Group CEO Dr Ranjan Pai said the Bangalore Centre was the second after Ahmedabad which opened in August last. It was proposed to open 50 such centres by 2011 in metros and Tier I cities, including Baroda and Pune.
He said the MCC planned to introduce more than 400 leading product lines from across the world, including cosmeceuticals and nutraceuticals which were clinically researched and manufactured at approved plants.
MCC also introduced Dermalogica-- a leading professional skin care brand developed by the International Dermal Institute, USA and used by professional skin therapists worldwide.
MCC was formed in January 2007 with a seed capital of Rs 50 crore.
