By Staff

Mumbai, Feb 21 (UNI) The Good Earth Super Series Finale starts here at the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) courts from February 26 to 29.

Organised by Havas Sports, this five city tournament (Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai) has successfully reached its Grand Finale. The grand prize for the winners includes a fully sponsored three-week tennis training program in France followed by tournaments in their respective age groups across Europe, a media release issued here today stated.

Supported by Vijay Amritraj, this series aims to promote young talent below the age of 16 and groom them to be competitive at an international level at a young age. This series is set amidst plenty of on-ground activities designed to create awareness around tennis as a sport, the need for health and fitness including the importance of a healthy, nutritious and well balanced diet.

To qualify for the finale, players from all over India have participated in a minimum of three out of five tournaments that are a part of this series. Akin to the ''ATP Master's'', the Grand Finale will have the top eight players from each age group compete for the ultimate honor of becoming the Good Earth Super Series Champion 2008, the release added.
