Washington, Feb 21 : David Fincher has signed on to direct horror romance 'Black Hole'.
The Paramount/ MTV Films pic is based on a graphic novel by Charlie Burns.
The pic will tell the tale of a group of high school students whose lives turn topsy-turvy when they come in contact with a sexually transmitted disease called the "teen plague" or "the bug."
Fincher will be directing from a script penned by Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman.
On board as producers are Kevin Messick and Plan B Entertainment, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
Fincher has just finished helming the Brad Pitt starrer "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" for Paramount.
