Sydney, Feb.20 : Dynamic Australian allrounder Andrew Symonds has indicated that he is not ready to tour Pakistan, and added that he has informed Cricket Australia about his decision late last year.
"I don't think I would go, no," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Symonds as telling Network Ten when asked what his position was on the tour.
"I just dread to think what would happen if someone got hurt, let alone killed. It's just a situation you'd never want to find yourself in," Symonds said
Symonds also said Cricket Australia was aware of his view and that he would need to sit down and discuss the matter if plans did go ahead.
CA has long maintained the view that the tour will go ahead if safety can be assured, but will be canned if it cannot.
