McGrath brought by Delhi; Prince, Yousuf withdrawn

Mumbai, Feb 20 (UNI) Glenn McGrath, Australian fast bowlers who during the first bid had to be sent to the reserve pool, was finally sold to Delhi for 35,0000 dollars during the last round of the Indian Premier League players bid here today.

Mohali picked up two players from the reserve pool--West Indian batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan for 225,000 dollars and Simon Katich for 200000 dollars.

Jaipur picked up Katich's teammate Justin Langer for 200,000 dollars, while Michael Hussey another Australian was sold to Chennai for 350,000 dollars.

Tatendu Taibu, the dimunitive wicketkeeper from Zimbabwe, went under the hammer to Kolkata for 125,000 dollars, Shivnarine Chanderpaul was sold for 200,000 dollars to Bangalore, while Mumbai got their hands on South African opener Loots Bosman.

Two players were withdrawn from the auction--Aswell Prince of South Africa and Mohd Yousuf of Pakistan.
