Centre approves Rs 143 crore for road repair works in UP

New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) The Centre has approved ten road repair works in Uttar Pradesh at a total cost of Rs 143 crore under the Central Road Fund (CRF) Scheme.

The projects were approved by Union Road Transport and Highways Minister T R Baalu following a representation from the state government.

The approval has been granted for the following ten works: A sum of Rs. 2429.88 Lakh has been sanctioned for widening and strengthening of Chaudgra-Bindki-Lalauli road of Major District Road (MDR-15) in Fatehpur district.

An amount of Rs. 1078.23 lakh has been approved for widening and strengthening of Bahuwa Chilla Ghat on State Highway (SH)-13A in Fatehpur district.

An amount of Rs. 559.21 lakh has been approved for widening and strengthening of Mathura-Sadabad Road of MDR-102 in Hathras district.

An amount of Rs. 125.49 lakh has been approved for widening of Tundla-Etah Road of SH-31 in Firozabad district.

An amount of Rs. 1507.08 lakh has been approved for widening and strengthening of Akbarpur-Maharuwa road of SH-9A in Ambedkar Nagar.

An amount of Rs. 2425.05 lakh has been approved for widening and strengthening of Bilraya-Panwari Road of of SH-21 in Jalaun district.

An amount of Rs. 1182.69 lakh has been approved for widening and strengthening of Utrolla-Faizabad-Allahabad road of SH-9 in Balrampur district.

An amount of Rs. 1460.49 lakh has been approved for strengthening of Badaun-Bilsi-Bijnor road of SH-51 in Moradabad district.

An amount of Rs. 1994.58 lakh has been approved for widening and strengthening of Salon-Unchahar Road of of MDR-7 in Raibareli district.

An amount of Rs. 1551.07 lakh has been approved for strengthening of Raibareli-Sultanpur Road of SH-34 in Sultanpur district.
