Mumbai, Feb 20 (UNI) In the round of the wicketkeepers, Delhi (EMR Holdings) picked up the reserve Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthick for 5,20,000 dollars from his base price of 2,00,000 dollars as well as South African attacking batsman A B de Villiers, who also doubles up as a wicketkeeper for 3,00,000 dollars.
The fifth round also saw Team Bangalore pocket one of the best keepers in the business Mark Boucher of South Africa for a price of 4,50,000 dollars. This is just the second buy of the team from Bangalore owned by Vijay Mallaya after Anil Kumble.
India's Parthiv Patel was bidded successfully by Team Chennai for a price of 3,25,000 dollars, while Kamran Akmal of Pakistan was taken by Jaipur landing him for his base price of 1,50,000 dollars.
There were no bids for Zimbabwe's Tatenda Taibu and he went into the reserve list for bidding at the last.
