Health problems prevents framing of charges against MP
Jaunpur, Feb 19 (UNI) A city court today fixed March 5 as the next date of hearing in the case against ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Umakant Yadav, accused of conspiring the murder of a gram pradhan of Japtapur village.
The BSP MP could not be produced before the court following health problems.
Umakant Yadav, who is presently lodged in Fatehgarh central jail, was behind the bars in Azamgarh jail when the murder of Shyam Kanhaiya Yadav took place last year.
On August 24, 2007, the gram pradhan of Japtapur in Sarai Khvaja area was shot dead.
Umakant was booked for conspiring the gram pradhan's murder.
