The Scots crave adventurous sex!

London, Feb 18 : A recent survey has revealed that most Scots crave adventurous sex.

The survey highlighting the adventurous side found that more than a quarter of the people have had sex on a beach, and almost 40 per cent have indulged in sex outside.

Most of the people revealed that they have sex two to three times a week with the most at a weekend night.

On an average, Scottish people agreed on spending around 45.3 minutes at a time, although an energetic 1.7 per cent agreed on having it for longer than three hours.

On the other hand, 1.3 per cent managed it for just five minutes or less, a statistic that leapt to 10 per cent in the Grampian region.

Anita Naik, advice columnist and author of The Lazy Girl's Guide To Good Sex said that the best thing one can do to enhance a boring sex life was to try something different. "The best balance is to try and make things different every time. Sometimes a quickie can be great, and sometimes a really long drawn out thing can be amazing. Ultimately, though, when it comes to sex it's about the quality of it, rather than quantity," Scotsman quoted her as, saying.

"You don't necessarily have to go outside, but just make small changes like having sex with the lights on, in the bathroom, or even just at a different time of day. Doing something slightly different keeps things fresh and more exciting," she added.

Furthermore, over 15 percent of the Scots said that a couple should have sex on the first date if they feel like it, making it more popular than at any other point in a relationship, an average Scot thought that they should wait until the fifth date.

While the ideal man for Scottish women was Sean Connery, the second place went to the actor Hugh Grant.

On the other hand, the ideal woman for Scottish men was actress Helen Mirren with supermodel Kate Moss on the second place.
