Rajnath to visit Nagaland for election rallies
Kohima, Feb 18 (UNI) BJP National President Rajnath Singh along with senior BJP leaders, will pay a whirlwind visit for a day to Nagaland on February 23 to address election rallies across the state.
Nagaland BJP General Secretary Avinash Koli in a release said Mr Singh would arrive at Dimapur from Guwahati on Saturday morning and would leave for Longleng, the district headquarters, where he would address a public meeting. Nagaland is going to the polls on March 5.
After the meeting he would leave for Tuensang to address another rally there. Mr Singh would also address a public rally at Wokha on the same day and by evening he would return to Dimapur for night stay.
The BJP president would be accompanied by BJP MP Jual Oram, National Vice President V Satish, National Joint General Secretary All India Spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy and party Election In-charge of Nagaland Siddhartha Nath Singh, who were also likely to address the rallies, Mr Koli said.
