CPI to devise poll strategy
Bhopal, Feb 18 (UNI) The three-day state conference of Communist Party of India beginning here from tomorrow will devise the strategy for the coming Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.
About 400 delegates from across the state will attend the conference which will begin with a massive rally in the city. CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan will address the conference on February 20, while the state committee election will be held next day, according to state party Secretary Shailendra Kumar Shaily.
Issues relating to communal forces, secularism, organisational set-up, hike in prices of essential commodities like petroleum products and problems faced by the working class would be discussed in the conference, Mr Shaily said in a statement today.
