Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari flays Raj Thackeray
Varanasi, Feb 18: In a scathing attack on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Tackeray, whose anti-North Indian remarks created mayhem across Maharashtra recently, renowned Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari said it was not easy to remove North-Indians from the state.
The migrants of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in Maharashtra should stop worrying, as Mr Thackeray cannot harm them, Mr Tiwari said talking to media here last evening. In Maharashtra, people attacking the North Indians were lesser in number than those, there to save them,'' the actor underlined.
''We would reply the violent incidents in Maharashtra by non-violence,'' Mr Tiwari said, adding that those fearing and returning from Mumbai would go back again and settle there.
The Maharasthra government should deal with the issue seriously, he added.
