Mauritius PM arrives tomorrow on a three-day-visit to Bihar
Patna, Feb 17 (UNI) Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam will arrive here tomorrow on a three-day visit to Bihar.
Following his arrival here from Port Louise, Mr Ramgoolam would unveil the statue of his late father and former President of Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam at a popular tri-junction near the city's famous Gandhi Maidan.
Later, he would attend a public felicitation programme, visit the historical Khuda Bakhsh Oriental library and attend a cultural programme at night.
After a night halt at the Raj Bhavan here, the Mauritius Prime Minister, accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and others, would visit Siwan in north Bihar the next morning to offer puja at the Sukla Toli Hanuman Mandir and also visit Swami Ganesh Dutt Shukla's residence there.
From Siwan Mr Ramgoolam would go to his ancestral village Harigaon in Bhojpur district to spend about two hours among the villagers. He would also take part in a public reception organised in his honour by the state government in the village itself.
Before leaving for New Delhi the next day Mr Ramgoolam would also visit Gaya, Nalanda, Rajgir and Bodh Gaya to see the historical sites there.
Before emplaning he is scheduled to address a 'Meet the Press' at Gaya along with the state Chief Minister.
