Congress satisfied over construction of Indira Prathisthan
Lucknow. Feb 17 (UNI) All India Congress Committee expressing its satisfaction on the progress of construction of Indira Prathisthan here has asked the state government to complete it at the earliest.
AICC treasurer and Rajya Sabha Member Motilal Vora, after inspecting the Prathisthan site today, said that almost 90 per cent of the work has been finished.
He said that the site selection for the installation of the statue of late Indira Gandhi has been completed and now the entire construction work of the Prathisthan should be finished soon.
The UP government was spending Rs 127 crore for construction of the Prathisthan since 2005.
The multi-purpose Indira Prathishan would have three storey conference halls and committee rooms, three auditorium, one banquet hall, art gallery, library and 30 meter tall Indira pillar.
