Washington, Feb 16 : After receiving favourable reviews for his recent performance, Sylvester Stallone has reneged on his promise to abandon the Rambo franchise.
In a recent interview, the 61-year-old dramatically u-turned on his stance, telling British talk show host Jonathan Ross that he would love to go back to Rambo again.
Stallone had earlier disappointed his fans after dismissing reports that he would pen another sequel for Rambo, stating it 'can't go any further'."I'd love to go back to Rambo again. You don't get to play that kind of character very often," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying in the interview.
"At first it was stereotyped but now I'm really proud to have done it. It's timely. Ten years ago it wouldn't have been right," he added.
