Inebriated foreigner jumps from bridge, critical
New Delhi, Feb 16 (UNI) A foreigner, possibly from Japan, jumped from a bridge in Moti Nagar area of South-West Delhi.
He has been admitted in a critical condition at the Safdarjung Hospital, said the police, The man, who is yet to be identified, was in an inebriated condition and threatened to jump from the bridge near Rail Museum in Chanakyapuri after police tried to persuade him to get down.
He later jumped while rescue operations by the police and fire brigade were on.
The man, who received serious head and leg injuries after falling on the rail track below, has a tattoo on his hand.
Some Yen was found from his pocket, but his nationality was yet to be ascertained, police added.
