Two arrested with fake currency in Jammu

Jammu, Feb 15 (UNI) Two persons were arrested along with fake currency this afternoon, official sources here said.

On specific information, a team of District Special Branch conducted a raid in Gujjar Nagar area here and apprehended two persons from a tea stall.

''During frisking, fake currency worth of Rs 80,000 with Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes, was recovered from their possession,'' sources told UNI.

However, the accused have been identified as Saraj Ahmed Khan and Sajjad Ahmed, both residents of Kulgam, Srinagar.
