Bangalore, Feb 15: Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur today urged Members of Parliament to follow up projects pending before the Centre to ensure that the requirements of the State are met.

Speaking at a meeting of MPs here, Mr Thakur said the main purpose of the meeting was to seek suggestions and comments on various issues pending for discussion with the Centre.

''The meeting, held prior to the commencement of Parliament session, assumes special significance this year because the State is under President's rule,'' he said.

The Union Cabinet Secretary along with other officials were scheduled to review the pending projects on February 20, he said.
