ACB recovers assets worth Rs 23.56 lakh in raids
Hyderabad, Feb 15 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau today conducted simultaneous raids on the premises of a civil servant, his close relatives and friends, and unearthed assets to the tune of Rs 23.56 lakh.
The officials raided the premises of Irrigation department senior assistant Ganji Laxmi Naidu in Vizianagaram district and unearthed Rs 19.31 lakh worth immovable assets, including a house at Bobbili of Vizianagaram district, seven house sites at Bobbili, Sailuru, Parvathipuram, Sabavaram and Vizianagaram and agriculture lands at Peddavalsa, Kaviripalli and Paddapadam, an ACB release here said.
Moveable properties, including 13 tolas of gold jewellery worth Rs 93,000, household articles worth Rs 1.43 lakh and five insurance policies worth Rs 1.81 lakh, were also unearthed, the release said.
