Hyderabad, Feb 14: Three Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLCs, including floor leader Dilip Kumar, were suspended till February 18 from the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council today for stalling the proceedings, demanding adoption of resolution on separate statehood to Telangana.

After repeated appeals to resume their seats fell on deaf ears, Council Chairman A Chakrapani named the members, following which Legislative Affairs Minister K Rosaiah moved a resolution for their suspension, which was adopted by voice vote.

Marshals bodily lifted the TRS MLCs R Satyanarayana, Abdul Rahman and the floor leader, who staged a sit-in in front of the Chairman's Chair, waved placards and raised 'Jai Telangana' slogans, out of the House.

As soon as the House assembled, the TRS MLCs raised the Telangana issue and obstructed the proceedings for the third day. The Council Chairman adjourned the House for ten minutes.

The TRS MLCs continued their agitation even after the House resumed, forcing the Chairman to suspend the members.
